The F-111 Phantom Gao (ファントムガオ) is a vehicle designed for Guy Shishiou's use from The King of Braves GaoGaiGar FINAL OVA series. Part of GGG's Mobile Unit, it can conduct Fusion (フュージョン) with Guy to form the Mechanoid GaoFar, then combine with the new generation GaoMachines (Stealth Gao III, DrillGao II, Liner Gao II to form the Super Mechanoid G.B.R.-11 GaoFighGar, serving as both a replacement and successor to Galeon. A prototype unit known as the XF-111 Prototype Phantom Gao was built as a testbed for the PhantomGao and stored on the Orbit Base as a spare unit, which led to the unit replacing the destroyed-in-action Phantom Gao King of Destruction ~ GaoGaiGar vs Betterman ~ novel and manga series.

Overview[]
Part of GGG's "GaoFighGar Project" to replace GaoGaiGar, the Phantom Gao is built as a replacement to Galeon (who went to the Trinity Solar System along with Latio) and to be used with their new Fighting Mechanoid, GaoFighGar. Being a high-performance aircraft, it is equipped with powerful Ul-Tech Engines, along with an onboard Mirror Coating generator, which allows the Phantom Gao to utilize optical camouflage, called the "Phantom Camouflage" (ファントムカモフラージュ), and hide from enemies in plain sight, similar to G.B.R.-04 Volfogg (hence the "Phantom" in the aircraft's name).

The Phantom Gao participated in many of GGG's missions, but most of the time it was only used to form GaoFar and GaoFighGar to combat enemies. As GaoFighGar was destroyed in action by Palparepa Plus, it also meant the destruction of the Phantom Gao.

Part of GGG's Mobile Unit, it was the prototype unit for the F-111 PhantomGao that debuted in The King of Braves GaoGaiGar FINAL OVA series and replaced said unit in the sequel story, as the Phantom Gao was destroyed by Palparepa Plus in the OVA.
