Reibraver (レイブレイバー Reibureibā) is the name given by Sunrise's supervisor Takuma Kiuchi to a brushed up revision of the 20th Anniversary logo concept art made by Masahiro Yamane as an April's Fool joke for the 30th Anniversary of the Brave franchise.

Production[]

Reibraver has its origins as a concept art made by Kunio Okawara for the 20th Anniversary of the franchise in 2010. It was later used as a logo for the franchise, being displayed in the 20th Anniversary theme songs compilation CDs of "More Bravest" and "Harvest" in February 23th 2011.

The design was revised in 2020 by Mashiro Yamane for that years April Fool's day, but due to unforeseen circumstances it delayed and ended up being revealed on the Super Brave Exhibition Vol.3 livestream on September 20th 2020. The staff mentioned during the video that this sample designs might make an appearance of the Super Brave Exhibition event that is scheduled to take place on December 2020.

Trivia[]

  1. When coming up with the name, they wanted to use Braver but it had already been used by another character. Then Yamane said they probably couldn't find a suitable name for the Reiwa (April Fool's project). Kiuchi then said Rei(wa)Braver sounded perfect.
  2. Even though the design was seemingly ready by April 1st, Takuma Kiuchi said they didn't come up with a name for it on time, which might be the reason why it got delayed.
